Best Places To Drink in Goa

Unlike other parts of the country, alcohol is greatly enjoyed by the locals over here due to its low cost. The local favorites consist of mostly beer of two well-known brands, Kingfisher and Kings. The other type of alcohol found in Goa is Feni. It is local liquor that is distilled from cashew nuts and coconut milk. But beware, first timers may not like this liquor as it is very pungent, but you can mix it with something sweet to blend the taste. A shot of Feni costs roughly around Rs. 20 to Rs. 40 in most pubs of Goa. One can find many varieties of both Foreign and Indian liquor in the state. While Goa is known for cheap liquor, foreign brands might cost a little bit more. However, it is always fun to choose from different types of liquor over here because of their funky names like Honeybee and Old Monk.
